EPISODE _001: SHOW TRANSCRIPT

Dr. Lisa Germain: What do you really know about your dental care? Do you even know the right questions to ask your dentist? You just don’t know what you don’t know.

Dr. Lisa Germain: You are listening to episode number one of This Old Tooth. Hello everyone. My name is Dr Lisa Germain and I have been a dentist for over 40 years. I have created this old tooth, this podcast so that I can answer your questions about, you guessed it, your teeth. Now you may be shaking your head saying, I brush, I even floss sometimes. What else is there? So let me ask you a few questions. How do you choose your toothpaste? Do you just buy the three pack because it’s on sale at Costco? Do you have trouble motivating your kids to brush their teeth? Are you confused about the best way to Whiten your teeth? Do you have a dry mouth? Do you know why you have a dry mouth? Did you know that the bottled water that you are drinking could be bad for your teeth? Are you aware of how much your dental health can be impacting your overall health?

Dr. Lisa Germain: I created this old tooth so that I could combine my expertise in dentistry with my steadfast empathy for you as a person who might not know what to do when faced with a decision about your dental care. I invite you to subscribe and take this journey with me as I talk about all things teeth and more.
