What Happens If Santa Claus Gets a Toothache on Christmas Eve?

Have you ever wondered what would happen if Santa Claus got a toothache on Christmas Eve?

As a thank you to all of my listeners out there,  wrote a children’s book called “Santa’s Christmas Eve Toothache. I am in the process of illustrating it. However, I am going to read you the text. The full book should come out for next Christmas. And just as a side note, the words are copyrighted and cannot be reproduced without my permission.

And here we go. This is what happens if Santa were to get a toothache on Christmas Eve.

On the night before Christmas, I began my routine of brushing and flossing for oral hygiene.

The children had all done the same as they should in the hopes that the list they were on would be good. I thought about Santa and what kind of food would help them to stay in his holiday mood. Instead of the cookies and sugary sweets, I put out a plate of healthier treats. Then out on the rooftop, I heard a loud groan, some stomping of feet and a long, dreadful moan. I sprang from my bed and to tell you the truth, it sounded like Santa had pain in his tooth.

I peered out the window at the man dressed in red. He was holding his jaw and shaking his head. He seemed to be going a mite bit insane because the toothache was causing him horrible pain. I opened the window and said to him, Claus, I’m a dentist. I’m sure I can find out the cause. Either come down the chimney or through the front door. On a night such as this, there’s no need to be sore.

He came in from the cold and was happy to sit. It had been a long night. He was ready to quit. I said “let me look so please open wide”. And I spotted a filling was missing inside. He thought that the pain would just go away. So he loaded the toys and the gifts on his sleigh. But as the night went and the more sweet (inaudible), he was left in a horrible, desperate state. I gathered my tools and my things used for drilling to make sure that Santa Claus got a new filling.

I first made him numb, which made him feel great. And he goes to my chair since it was getting late. I gave him a brush and some toothpaste and floss. And I said to make sure he used them, of course. I urged him to take better care of himself and for follow up treatment to see Doctor Elf.

As he gave me a hug and we said our goodbyes. I saw that the twinkle was back in his eyes. Then he rose up the chimney and into the night with a skip in his step was again out of sight.

And now, since his tooth was once again hold, delivering joy was his only goal. I’ll always remember, as he got on his way, he summoned his reindeer and got in his sleigh. Then I heard him exclaim with his laughter so bright.

“Merry Christmas to all and to all a good night.”
